Within the job hunting world where everyone’s professional blueprint is just a few mouse clicks away, how can one stand out as unique?  Does a strong work ethic and willingness to get results…to make a difference, outclass the weightiest resume?

 When times are tough and it’s more important than ever to find the right innovator for the job, what should a company’s beacon be?  They must be able to sense in an individual, a drive for excellence.  Not only that, they should insist on outstanding customer-focused attention that exceeds expectations.  Above all else, they should want someone whose leadership philosophy stands for integrity, trust and character.  These are my personal guiding principles.  Always.

Since 1995 I’ve specialized in solution sales in the printing, supply chain, environmental, industrial supply and retail industries.  I’ve managed territories globally spanning the U.S, Canada, Europe and directed the development of satellite sales through manufacturer reps in South America and Australia.  As a top revenue producer, I demonstrate the ability to quickly analyze market trends and devise clear, concise action plans to maximize profits. I apply this strategy to capital equipment, consumables or service-based sales which in turn makes my account management style easy to do business with at all times.  This approach has helped me to build satisfaction and trust at the highest level, transforming client relations to that of valued business partner.

My U.S. Navy background is in technical systems administration where I held a secret security clearance.   I learned to own the issue until resolution with an emphasis in analysis/maintenance and performance monitoring with practiced expertise in electronics. This specialized training prepared me for leadership opportunities including  project management, coaching and team building.  From there, I advanced rapidly into civilian work selling customized inks, coatings, water-based and UV for the flexographic, narrow, wide web, sheet fed and digital printing markets.   

Throughout my career I’ve tied great sales and servicing together with great project management strengths.  Nothing too earth-shattering.  No secret formula.  Just a knack for creating partnerships by being direct, always simplifying  and adding humor.  I have found that by maintaining an inner and outer equanimity regardless of the circumstances, makes everyone comfortable.  This is a skill set that has worked wonders for me and may be that beacon your business is looking for.
